Montrose has quite a few tourist attractions including two 18-hole golf courses. The par 71 Medal is the fifth oldest course in the world and has been in use since 1562.

Montrose Links is a final qualifier for the Open Championship. Montrose’s second golf course is a flatter and easier Broomfield Course, this is also a par 71.
