Arbroath Sea Fest is an annual festival taking place around the Arbroath Harbour and Marina, and along the waterfront. Filled with incredible sights, sounds, smells and tastes, it is an event in Arbroath not to be missed!
Over 30,000 visitors come to Arbroath Sea Fest in August each year. The dates for this year are 13-14 August 2016.
Arbroath Sea Fest was launched in 1997, with the idea to celebrate the rich heritage of the sea which Arbroath has.
When you come to Arbroath for this family festival you have to try the Arbroath Smokies! There are live demonstrations of how the local fishmongers prepare the fish, and there’s nothing quite like eating fresh Arbroath Smokie, still warm from being smoked, the smokey smells filling the air. 🙂
As well as the different stalls, there are fairground rides, live music, and all kinds of entertainment to enjoy. Face painting, local crafts, food stalls selling all manner of things, Lifeboat demonstrations, Music stage and much more! The festival changes each year, so come and experience it this August!
