This is a video of visiting the Bell rock Lighthouse on a sunny summer’s day.
The Bell Rock Lighthouse is situated about 12 miles south east of Arbroath on the Inchcape Reef. It is automated and run from Edinburgh by the Northern Lighthouse Board.
The BellRock Lighthouse is the world’s oldest surviving sea-washed lighthouse, and was built on Bell Rock (also known as Inchcape) in the North Sea. Standing at 35 m high, the light is visible from 35 statute miles (55 km) inland
Boat trips to the lighthouse can be arranged by your hosts at Harbour Nights Guest House. Enjoy seeing the Bell Rock Lighthouse close up, especially in the 200th anniversary of the Bell Rock Lighthouse being lit.
